The seats’ fronts feature platinum-tone leather surrounding suede-like Alcantara® inserts, with black, sculpted seatbacks. Like its coupe concept predecessor, the Camaro convertible is a runner with a V-8 engine backed by a six-speed manual that puts the power down through God’s Own Rear Wheels. 2009 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Concept will likely share the same engine options as the hardtop that focuses on power and fuel economy. In base LS form, the Camaro uses a 3.6-liter direct-injected V-6 to produce 304 horsepower while returning 29 miles per gallon on the highway. The performance-tuned Camaro SS uses a 6.2-liter V-8 to pump out up to 426 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque.
