The all-new 2010 Nissan Murano crossover SUV is redesigned from the 2009 model year. The modern crossover SUV offers an advanced technology, state-of-the-art safety, classy good looks, spacious cargo capacity and SUV practicality. As a midsize SUV Murano also rank its engine as one of the ten best on the road and it makes Murano as a ‘Revolutionary Vehicle’ described by reviewers. Comes with three trims: S, SL, and LE, 2010 Murano is the affordable midsize SUV and reliable car from the price side. The closest competitor of Nissan Murano comes from the Buick Rainier, the GMC Yukon XL, and the Volkswagen Touareg.
The exterior is an evolution of the first-generation Murano and includes a chrome grille, high waistline, bulging wheel-arches, rear LED tail-lights and standard 18-inch alloys with 20-inch alloys available as an option. The front end has bold headlight clusters and optional bi-xenon headlights. The rear end has some distinctive shapes, including a rear window designed for good rear visibility. 2010 Nissan Murano shares its platform with the Altima and Maxima sedans and, as such, boasts a four-wheel independent suspension.
Murano lives up to its “mobile suite” design theme with high levels of warmth and luxury. The interior also features available wood and aluminum accents, a 60/40 fold-flat rear seat with power return, heated front and rear seats, power liftgate, rain-sensing front wipers and RearView Monitor.
The 2010 Muranos feature a VQ-series 3.5-liter DOHC V6 rated at 265 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque and an advanced Xtronic CVT™ that provides a sporty and smooth driving experience. Murano is available in front-wheel drive or with an Intuitive All-Wheel Drive system, and all Muranos come standard with Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) with a Traction Control System (TCS) for all-weather confidence.
