The 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is a sports car in compact sedan. All 2010 Evos are powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that pumps out 291 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. The 2010 Lancer Evolution available in GSR, MR and MR Touring trim levels. The GSR gets a five-speed manual transmission, while the MR and MR Touring are paired to a six-speed Twin-Clutch Sportronic Shift transmission (TC-SST) with manual mode and paddle shifters. The GSR’s performance credentials are characterized by a large rear wing spoiler, sport-tuned suspension, Brembo disc brakes and 18-inch alloy wheels with performance tires. Like its predecessors, the 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution sends its considerable thrust to all four wheels. But thanks to what’s dubbed Super All-Wheel Control, the Evo feels more like a well-balanced rear-drive car. Price range: $33,590 – $40,990. [Source: Edmunds]
