Ford Edge 2011 Front Angle

Ford used the Chicago Auto Show as its venue for the 2011 Ford Edge, putting on stage a new car with revised exterior styling and a host of new technologies. This new crossover is much more than a simple refresh, like most mid-cycle refreshes, the new Edge update starts with a nose job. Every panel up front is new: hood, fenders, grille, and fascia. Underneath that new hood, this vehicle will have a selection of two new engines and one updated unit. The new base engine will be a 2.0-liter turbocharged, direct-injected EcoBoost four-cylinder. Mid-level SEL models will get the 3.5-liter V-6 from the previous Edge. The new Edge features MyFord Touch, an interface composed of one 8-inch touch screen on the center stack and two 4.3-inch LCDs in the instrument cluster. A five-way steering wheel button controls the content of each instrument cluster LCD, letting the driver view trip information, navigation, audio, climate, and phone. Price start at (MSRP): $27,350.
