The 2011 Ford Expedition is a 4-door SUV that meets the family requirement for passenger room, cargo carrying ability and the high capacity for towing a boat or trailer. The Ford Expedition is the largest SUV in Ford’s line-up and can seat 9 passengers. With a high-powered V8 engine, the Ford 2011 Expedition has a muscle to tow up to 9100 lbs. The Expedition offers a smooth ride that is more car-like than most big, truck-based SUVs. All Ford Expeditions sport an Independent Rear Suspension, a feature not common in the full-size SUV market. Power comes from a 5.4-liter V8 that delivers 300 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 365lb-ft of torque at 3,750 rpm on regular 87-Octane gas. The Ford Expedition available in four trims: the entry-level XLT, the outdoorsy Eddie Bauer, the luxurious Limited, and the top-of-the-line King Ranch. Another model the Expedition EL is an extended length Expedition. Price range MSRP $35,590 – $51,690. [Source: Ford USA]
