First introduced in 1966, the Bronco started out fairly small for an SUV with plain design, inexpensive, and rugged. Became much larger in 1978, the Bronco also turned into a reliable truck and fun. In this article, the 1968 Ford Bronco has been customized into a truck which is purpose built to run the desert. With the suspensions to match off-road capability, this classic SUV engine has been replaced by the ’75 Ford 351 Windsor small-block with 400 lb-ft of torque and 450 horsepower. Moving to the front of the truck we find a custom set of chromoly shock hoops, engine cage and radius arms. The suspension include King 2.5-inch dual-rate coilovers and Fox 2.0-inch hydraulic air bumps. The interior floor was protected with a full coat of Line-X. Beard Ultra seats have been mounted to the chassis with Crow five-point padded belts. [Source: Via]
