The BMW i3 Concept is the world’s first premium electric vehicle designed to meet the demands of sustainable and emission-free mobility for urban areas. Every detail of this concept vehicle conceived and optimized to fulfill its eventual purpose with light, safe and spacious car as a key of the BMW’s Innovative LifeDrive architecture. This future compact car is the first volume-produced car featuring bodywork largely made of carbon. Powered by a lightweight 125kW electric motor over the rear axle, BMW i3 can accelerate from 0-60 in less than 7.9 seconds, with a top speed of 93 mph and a range of 93 miles. The use of renewable raw materials is another defining characteristic of the interior for the experiencing the sustainability of the vehicle. Elements of the instrument panel and door paneling are visibly made from natural fibers. All the features delivers the future of driving with its revolutionary new electric city car.
