Chevrolet unveiled the 2013 Malibu Eco, a compact sedan with greater efficiency which features new fuel-saving eAssist™ technology, the regenerative braking system which provides electricity to charge the battery. This new technology complements 2.4L ECOTEC® engine to deliver high-value and gas-friendly performance. The all-new Chevy Malibu Eco exterior takes cues from the aggressive styling and expressive design of both the Camaro and Corvette.
This compact sedan was designed to be aerodynamically efficient, as shown in the design of outside rearview mirrors, tail lamps shape and four underbody panels that more commonly found on premium-priced cars. The cockpit interior design is as comfortable and spacious as it is quiet. And its anticipated segment-leading aerodynamics not only creates a distinctive presence on every road. The new Malibu Eco also surrounded by safety features including up to 10 air bags, ultra-high-strength steel, lane departure warning/forward collision warning and rearview camera system.
