The new generation Boxster redefined its performance with new lightweight body and more powerful engines. The new Porsche Boxster will be powered by the 2.7-L flat-six boxer engine produces 265 hp, while the Boxster-S gets 3.4-L, both models completed with Sport Chrono package that provides even better performance and feature a manual six-speed gearbox as standard, with the seven-speed dual-clutch Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) available as an option.

The exterior styling of the 2013 Boxster offers unique driving experience with shorter front and rear overhangs, significantly forward-shifted windscreen and expressive edges.
